Welcome! I have been in private practice in Austin, Texas for the past 8 years. I have worked for various organizations during my career path, including Travis County Juvenile Justice, Austin Recovery – an addiction treatment center -, child and adolescent treatment centers. I also have experience in working with the State of Texas Substance Abuse Division as well as the Children’s Mental Health Division, both under the Department of State Health Services(DSHS). I hold a state license in marriage and family therapy(LMFT) in the state of Texas, having obtained my license in March of 2002. As a member of the Christian Counselors of Texas, as well as the Focus on the Family Counselor Referral Service, I believe in professional accountability as well as maintaining professional standards of practice.
I strive to serve with integrity those who entrust me with their personal challenges, struggles, and goals. I enjoy working with couples, families and individuals with a specific emphasis on relationship dynamics. I have experience with single parents, including those adjusting to divorce. Assisting Blended Families adjust to their new dynamics is something I find especially rewarding.
